2. How do I pay for my booking?
Booking are guaranteed by a 10% non-refundable deposit. You settle your account (the balance of 90%) at the end of your stay at the front desk by credit card, cash or traveler’s cheque.
3. Can my children stay in the room for free?
One child under age of 12 years is eligible stay in your room free of charge. Our various suites are larger size and can accommodate 2 children.
4. Are babysitting services available?
Yes, babysitting services are available at the hotel upon request. Please contact the front desk.
5. What are the check-in and check-out times?
The check-in time is 14:00 hours and the check-out time is 12:00 hour. Complimentary early check in and late check out are subject to availability.
6. Do you charge for cancellations?
Paradise Beach Resort has cancellation policy. Full details will be advised at the time of booking.
7. When is a good time to visit Samui?
Samui is a year-round destination with little change of temperature. However, as Thailand is a tropical country, at certain times of the year, there is a heavier rainfall than at others. Samui normally has more rainfall in November and beginning of December.
8. What is the currency in Thailand?
The currency in Thailand is Thai Baht. There are currency exchange facilities in all the banks. Paradise Beach Resort also provides currency exchange services 24 hours a day at our front desk.
9. How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
At Samui international airport (USM), there are a range of options. When you book your hotel room, you can arrange for a hotel van to collect you. After a long flight, it is wonderful not to have worry about finding a taxi. Alternatively, there are also many airport taxis that will charge from 500-600 Bath for the ride from Samui international airport (USM) to Paradise Beach Resort.

11. Are towels available for the beach and for the pool?
Every room in the hotel provides towels for the out-door facilities.
12. Is it possible to purchase orchids and take them on my flight?
Cut orchids can be taken into most countries. Orchids, packed in special carrying boxes for the flight, can be arranged and will be ready upon your departure to the airport. Please contact the reception for details of the availability and price of this service.
13. Are medical services available at the hotel?
Paradise Beach Resort has a doctor on 24 hour call. First aid kits are also available.
14. What are the golf facilities like on Koh Samui?
Thailand is world-renowned for the quality of its golf courses. In Samui there are three different golf courses to choose from, among others the famous 18 hole Santiburi Golf Course. The front desk can assist to arrange transportation and tee-off times. Please ask for more details when you book if you are interested in a few rounds of golf.
15. What voltage do you use in Thailand?
The voltage in Thailand is 220 volts. If you are coming from America, you will need to use transformer to operate certain electrical appliances. International adapters are available on request.
16. Do you have satellite television and in-house movies available?
Our hotel offers a range of local and international news and entertainment channels. You have also the possibility to rent DVD-players at the reception.
17. What is the VAT refund system in Thailand?
The current level of VAT in Thailand is 7%. The government has introduced a VAT refund system for tourists. Full details can be obtained from participating shops.
18. How many additional beds can you have in one room?
All rooms are equipped with 1 double-size bed and 1 single-size bed. As well as the most rooms can accommodate one additional bed or a baby cot.
